Who wants to play hooky with me tomorrow and take a ride up to Stamford?

I need to go get a new passport (lost mine in a flood).

My appt is at 10:30 am

Might be my last ride in the area for a loooooooooong time.

Lunch will be at one of the famous steamed burger places (no really, they're good)

oh my god John, I'm so glad you're still here to joke about it. I would bash the fuckers door and window in. A buddy of mine has these flashy gloves with titanium knuckles, I've seen him shatter a side window of a car with them on. maybe you should get a pair of those.....

I saw those guys last Saturday on my 4th trip to the Rockaways. Good to see some MC guys get involved and help other folks.

I was off from work last week so I tried to volunteer twice in Red Hook bk and was turned away. They said they didn't need anymore people. My sister in law did get a spot and her job was to kick the scamming 5hitheads out of line they caught lining up multiple times a day for the same cleaning supplies. Mops, brooms etc. I'd be SOOO much better at that then her!!!

I worked the line the Friday after Thanksgiving (read here) and noticed only a few people get back into the line, it wasn't a big deal since we had plenty of supplies and nobody told me to kick them out. One good thing about working the line is that I met a few families that needed help, so I wrote down their numbers and asked them for a list of stuff they needed. This past saturday we went back out with my wife to deliver items and volunteer at the same church (St. gertrude's on Beach 38th).

Nef, were you guys on Beach Channel between 50th and 70th??? I can't remember the exact address but I remember seeing the bikes, vests and yellow shirts.

Yup. Beach Channel and 59th. On the same property as the Post Office.

What she was told was these people come every day multiple times and the organizers thought the must have had a store where they were selling the stuff. What a horrible thing to do.

Hi all--just got a new chain and sprockets. Does anyone have a chain tool I can borrow? I got a D.I.D. 520 with the master link whose pins need to be mushroomed.
