'99 KTM 640A - replacement mid-pipe?
I've got a '99 KTM 640 Adventure.
The stock mid pipe with the big muffler looking thing is on it right now. Is there anyone who is still making the replacement, straight-thru, mid-pipe? |

From what I'm told the pre-silencer doesn't affect air flow, so leave it on...unless you are trying to save a few ounces of weight.

Bisbo,
Had the replacement on my '02 640a for years. It smoothed out the power and a seemed to have a few fewer vibes. Coupled with the Comp muffler the BST40 pulls flawlessly from Zed to redline. And runs great above the treeline. It's how it wants to be. bill

I've been looking through the parts diagrams at Munn Racinig but could not find the pipe itself. It'll be much easier now. |
