Tick, you feel like being lead for a change instead of leading all the time like you usually do? You wanna ride with this here group?

I'll ride with anyone, front or back of the pack. Where and when?

Wink

Hey,
I've just moved to the US, more precisely to the Boston area. I used to ride my dirt bike every Saturday and now I have no clue if I should buy a plated or non-plated bike and where to ride (specially during the winter).
Could anyone help?
Cheers
Guilherme

Plated dirt bike works best for us

You will find the great state of Massachusetts doesn't like dirt bikes very much. There are few places to ride "legally" and they are shrinking daily. If you buy something plated you will have many more options, or at least you can ride the road in between "stealth places" to ride

Or if winter is your gig just grab a snowmobile and ride everything legally!

Good luck and welcome

Hammond St/Federal Rd intersection looks like the most central location to all of us...but I'm open to suggestions.

Chiefy isn't rolling until 8:30...so 9-ish?

You plan on going North, South or East from there? The Canal was real nice last weekend.

Left to my own devices/riding alone, I would head east for sure...less pavement.

But we have Chiefy leaving his house near the Plymouth Airport with 3+ bikes, me from Marion, possibly the red bearded captain from Rochester...just trying to do the right thing for everybody, which means I'll manage to do the wrong thing for everybody.

I'm trying to avoid hauling my bike...

I'll ride anywhere, it just seems foolish for me to beeline to Hammond to turn and go backwards.
