Do you think you'll lower the DR350 again or keep it where it's at now?

With bomberwife's DR350 we found it worked best putting all the suspension settings to the softest adjustments.
The bike just floated over the terrain, instead of tossing her around.

greaaaaaaat, thanks for the "still life with DR350", I truly appreciate it. Gotta ditch the fuschia gear and get black...blend in a bit.

It wasn't the height of the DR (I've got a 33" inseam, I'm tall!), it was skill and fatigue, both of which were pretty low on this ride (next time, go to bed early and maybe don't ride 73 miles in the fog to get to the start). The boys were super sweet and patient.

I hate glaciers. Thanks for spewing all the damn rocks about.

Yeah, you notice all the money shots are on the 450. I'd like to see him try to whip the 250.

The crf250l is 99 lbs heavier than my crf250x and has less travel both front and rear suspension travel.they are using a steel frame on it.don't know if that accounts for that much weight.my KTM isn't a boat anchor

I take back that 99 lbs spec was wrong on my x 253 lbs the r is 227 and the l is 326

The x has head light. Tail light. Electric start. No signals horn ect certificate of origin stamped off road only

Can't see signals horn brake switchs chain guard weighing that much

The engine accounts for much of the additional weight - the bottom end of the engine is much larger and heavier.

Also fasteners and tons of stuff are just cheaper so they are heavier..

Every bike maker out there has some cheap models...KLX,TTR,Etc....
They are cheaper to build and more affordable but will not take a beating as good.

I just Binged where Dudley MA was and you are well within striking distance of the Pachaug area rides a straight shot down 395 and especially the rare northern CT/RI area rides. I'm hoping there will be more northern CT/RI border area rides in 2013. Perhaps even a Camp-n-Ride based up there somewhere.. paging JGormley...

Watching the Pats ... and its gettin past my bedtime... anyhow...

The more the better... the Northern CT/RI will be hitting Pulaski this year...
we need to check out Elbow Rock Road..and parts north of Pulaski...
seems like there are more trails in this area to be discovered...
also I will be doing a ride starting near Rt 7 and 295 and making it way north and west. from there...

Being from Dudley have you ever made you way on the Old Connecticut Turnpike as it runs through your area?
