Got the word its a total loss..... Time to start looking for a new one!

I'm not too sure I'd go for calling it the chopper look. I thought it was now more of a drag bike, in that it only moves if you drag it.....

I was passing through a junction with both traffic lights and give way markers. As I was about to exit the lady pictured on the right crossed her give way markers and I went for a nice roll over her bonnet. Knocked the wind out of me and cracked a rib. Been hurting this past week but it could have been worse, without the protection of my right cylinder head I'm convinced my bruised ankle would have been broken.

Fantastic trip made better by a fantastic bike. Can't wait to get it's replacement and go back another year!

Yes, yes, yes! The look on the beast! I ride a 1200GSA and my neighbors just picked up a bumblebee.... I was drooling and lusting after it. As soon as I get a chance I'll start the hunt for a white/blue. Love the look, gret bikes.
You know, any GS will do ok on that last ride on the way to hell.

One day

Never owned a GS but to this day still think the silver 1150GSA is one of the sexiest bikes ever made and WILL own one eventually. Less 'transformer' than the newer models. Think old troop carrier landcruiser vs 'Prado/a'. At 5'3" though it might be a stretch. That said, every bike I've ever owned has been too tall and currently ride a DR650 that's 25mm taller the the old GSA

Loving mine. Chased a fuel mixture problem this summer, and ended up with rebuilt throttle bodies and new fuel injectors, after I had already changed the throttle cables and bowden box. Also changed to Spiegler brake lines, and put Ohlins on; almost 70k, and she runs and feels like new.

Lolo Pass over Labor Day weekend

the essence of the GS and why I've always wanted one. Recently got a great one - dirt roads are no match... but, bouncing on the ground every now and then is what it's all about. It's kinda like skiing. If you don't fall, then you're not having enough fun
