LOL you guys are too funny, glad it's all worked out.
It's the LRP for anyone that wants to call it that. |

[QUOTE=Lost Rider;20186828]LOL you guys are too funny, glad it's all worked out.
It's the LRP for anyone that wants to call it that. I call my CRF my "heavy honda" and that's coming from a guy who rode an 800# VTX 1800 to the arctic circle

It's good to see that companies are beginning to support our bikes. Looking forward to all the goodies that are yet to come.
Just want to take a moment to plug Cogent Dynamics as another source for a rear shock. Rick was very good to take the time and walk me through the options that are available. After sending my shock to him for measurements and base line testing, he built me a custom shock of the same basic design as that Racetech unit shown by Ramz ... an Internal Floating Piston shock with rebound adjustment. I neglected to take pictures of the shock before install and will do so here in the next few days. Also, Rick's assessment of the CRF shock is that it could be opened and revalved. We didn't take that route for mine, but if you're interested give him a ring and let the rest of us know how it goes. No affiliation, just a satisfied customer.

That wasn't even a good hijack. That just kept it on the front page. This thread has a ton of noobs in it. Come to the basement sometime... ![]() Some hijacks on the XRL owners thread last for 20 or more posts. Just set your posts per page to 100. ![]() Quote:
BTW, it's Mental, get it right... ![]() Quote:
There ya go. You got the point of the post. Some people don't have a clue what the XR and BRP heritage is all about. Lost explained it well. ![]()

I am constantly reminded of how jealous I am of ramz speedy upgrades ! Haha I like the shifter and can't wait to hear more about the rear shock. My biggest complaint of the stock bike so far. IMO

See ya got porn from ramz and an active thread too. Too bad 'Flagger forgot to take his porn pics... I'd like to read ramz thoughts about how his other bikes from the XR, the KLX and his WRR compare. ![]()

Interesting. I just sent them an email already asking about having the shock worked on. That could fit the budget much better than the new shock option and probably help quite a bit. Maybe a spring change to get it just right for Nancy is in order too if possible. First things first though - A Scott's steering damper. Will keep you posted on the results. Porn this, it's not ALL about the dirt on the LRP. ![]() ![]() Though it looks good all by it's self under the moonlight while camping, no TMH (The Mighty Husaberg) to hog the scene. ![]()

Installed the DRC Edge2 LED taillight tonight, cleaned up the rear nicely and is much lighter than the stock setup. Took about 1 1/2 hour since its a custom install but well worth it.

I called them and ordered it on November 5th or 6th and got it today December 5 - about 30 days and that includes time off for Thanksgiving. They told me that they had already built a few for others. Quote:
