Work on the 450 is progressing slowly, but making progress. Last night I did rear wheel bearings, second time this year. Today, I'm trying to press out the shock bearing on the swingarm. What fun. Steering bearings after that. I found out that I need a new subframe too. I must have broke it a long time ago overloading.g that fancy fender bag of mine. Rear fender and everything attached to it is shot now. I'm not complaining, I find the work rewarding. I just wish i still had the money I'm spendi.g on parts.

I got the KTM ones. They are sealed on both sides. On a good note, I pressed out the swingarm bearing without issue today at work. That sucker was in tight too. It would budge with the hand arbor press, so I put a few tons on it. Pushing the button was easier too.

The EE's have the seals (covers) on both sides too. You can use a pick screwdriver to pry the seals off without damaging them. For the heim joint bearing make sure you get a straight shot when banging the seal in on the chain side. I left my chain and slider on replacing mine and messed up the seal on that side since I came in banging it at an angle. Looks like you already have your slider off though.

We (Motogo1, Sledstorm, JMitch & I ), rode most of the loop yesterday. Rode parts of it twice. 68 miles in total. It was supposed to be 58 degrees and sunny according to the weathermaggot when we made plans a few days earlier. It was dreary and rained off and on all day. Still had a good ride. Everybody got to practice their falling at least once. Sledstorm did a "SpongeBob" on the turnpike trail.
We had enough people to move this outta the way.

I think I fell in the same hole not long ago, because I remember changing gloves and cursing at that right hander. lol
I watched motogo go right before me, he must have upset the water gods... Nice fast ride for a wet day!

Progress on the 450...
Removed broken subframe Installed the swingarm bearing Extracted two broken bolts, one held my kickstarter on and the other was bottom right subframe bolt. I guess I put some flex into frame and it just broke off. Tonight, I'm cleaning up all my plastics so I can reinstall them and putting the swingarm, shock, tire, and New chain and sprocket on. I even got a new bolt, washer and o-ring for the front sprocket. Here's how she sits now.
