Uhm, no. It only had e-start, no kick start.

The 660 SMC has kick start only, which you won't be able to fit with the tanks on.

THAT right there explains why they always look like the rear wheel was sticking out the back unusually far. I'd put it down to a bit of an optical illusion due to the rear tanks and low-then-upswept twin exhausts.

I've always lusted after a Rallye or better yet a real factory racer. Not because I'd ever ride one to its limits, but because they are essentially the pinnacle of development for the LC4. More motor, more fuel, more stability at speed - what's not to like for distance adventuring?

it's elec start only. No problem i put a gel accu as replacement.

The shock and fork are now at Reiger Suspension for a complete overhaul and rider weight/skill adjustment

Ordered already many parts and waiting on all those nice packages yep it must come across the big lake.
Due to the Dakar that is oncoming many suppliers have other things on their mind then a rebuild project. In january i'm going to order the complete RNS nav stuff Tony Shattet did a nice job with the new tripmaster!


Next is:
- repainting the rear frame (powdercoating off course)
- rebuilding the front wheel, because of a cracked rim
- Rewire the electricity part


And already planning some trips i'm one off the guys who is doing the tracks on the Easter GS weekend 2013 in the Netherlands. Hopefully the 660 is ready then.
Next i'm planning a trip to russia (was there long time ago) or marokko (must have revenge at a qued where i broke down a BMW 1100RR)
