All of his posts seem to be shit stirring.

Might have to get rid of a few of them (and this post) from the racing section...

2009 or 200.9 seconds ago... doesn't matter. The guy takes/took nice pics but in the end he's still a newb rider (nothing wrong with that) and fits the typical CREDIT CARD profile. sorry if it hurts but its true.

What do you care? The guy was making a supportive comment on someone else's post, why would you bother posting that negative crap here?

To get back on topic .

Just finished the Libya Rally Marocco edition. Video of day 1 is finished:
http://youtu.be/82_rvofLhiQ

Husaberg berformed flawlessly, max speed 163km/h but still had some throttle. Had a crash at the end of day 4. Skipped day 5 because of ribs and cocussion. Had my revenge on day 6 and 7 (3rd and 1st place).

Hi GezwindeSpoed,
I just bought a 2010 FE 450, and what to make a light rally bike with it.

Did you fil yours with the 70 degree tank + the 10L back tank? I think these 70 degree tanks are not available anymore. What is your fuel capacity and autonomy?

From the picture it seems you put the navigation tower on the handlebars, not too heavy when you drive? Did you fit your bike with a steering damper?

What other mods did you do?

Fuel: Original tank 8.5L and Safari rear 10L (unfortunately no subframe tank). Almost 300km autonomy. A completely filled rear is pretty heavy and you feel it wagging on fast pistes. But in the dunes, it helps to keep the weight on the rear wheel.

I do have a steering demper (Scotts), i do not want to miss it.

Yes, navigation on the handlebars. You have to get used to it, but it does not influence the steering too much.

Furthermore a heavier rear spring, 15/52 sprockets, bib mousse, radiator and rear disk protection. Trailtech X2 light. That's it.

Edit: I forget to mention the fan kit. Realy important in the dunes. Did not loose any water the whole rally!

Roadbook holder (made of a HDPE cutting board):

That's right, a Husa used in a rally is a Husa rally bike .

I had one mechanical problem though. Boiling fuel in the dunes. Fuel was pissing out of the rear fuel tank vent. When I opend the front tank I could hear a load ssssttttt. Four times my engine stalled, of course on a steep dune side. Later I heard that it was 45C, a few people got cought by the heat.

Boiling fuel at 6:05min

Did you have enough room in your F2R? The roadbooks of the Libya Rally contained too much detail, needed to cut it in 3 pieces sometimes.

Hellas improved a lot compared to last year!

What is your range with subframe tank?
