I saw this bike when I was shopping for mine this time last year - it looked pretty fresh although the plastics were greyed as if the bike spent a long time in the sun.

For comparison - mine is a 05, had 52K on the clock and was $4500 with a bunch of good spare parts, luggage (hard side cases and tank bag), and a pretty complete service history.

It was my first night. Had a good time, great workout. Haven't played since I was 15 years old, but enjoyed it.

Yup the wife and I have been playing for a few weeks now. It was that or indoor soccer and this way it is something we can do together. I was your partner when we were warming up with those two guys at the start of the night - did not recognize you with the beard but as we walked off the court we shook hands and "ahhhh...".

Many of the same guys play tennis in the summer - also a good way to keep the hips and back flexible after a day in front of a desk.

Going up Saturday to the trails by Plenva with the dirt bikes - there was 3-4 inches of snow up there this weekend - one last blast on the dirt for me. Too miserable of a ride to do it on the 640 so we will trailer up toasty and warm and ride the little bikes.

Will have to test your light touch theory - at least there is less on coming traffic on forest roads in case it does not go so well

if its still snow covered on the weekend a few (60-80 ) sheet metal screws or 5/8 in studs work wonders on the front.

I could give you any number of excuses from having to haul a bunch of crap to work, etc. But in the end I don't have one - and yes I felt like a right pussy the rest of the day, damn it is nice to see a bike at this time of year however even if it ain't between my own legs.

I used to ride my KLR on mild winter days, but now I'm afraid of the salt ruining my shiny KTM.

What do you do about salt on your bike, or do you have a winter beater?
