Mate, I'll be honest. I looked at the weather and simply piked.

Piss-weak, I know. I did however go to a movie on Sunday with WifeSilla and earned some brownies.

I just got a new tyre on the rear of the KTM, so in the new year I think I will be motivated to get rego again.

gates open 0600 Sunday morning,
this one is a great swapmeet for this area,
gunna be stuffed, Capital rally Friday night, nightshift Saturday night,
finish 0600, jump on the bike & down to the swapmeet

It's still possible to get through on many where trees have fallen on fence lines but the trails aren't being maintained. The trail from Pockets Hut used to go straight down McLeods Spur directly into Brindabella and was used in some of the early Brindabella Enduros.
It is possible to go down the eastern side of McLeods, cross the Goodradigbee and up to Mt Ginini but it's not easy.
Leura Gap has been closed for years but going around the gate gives the choice of straight up the Mt Franklin Road to the left or Smokers Gap or Orroral to the right, with a few gates in the way.
The track down Stockyard Spur that leads from the Mt Franklin Road to the Corin Dam wall has just been reopened as a walking track.
Even the track down from the Mt Franklin Road to Brindabella a few kilometres south of the Bendora turn off has gates on it.
Broken Cart to Boundary Trail and then down over the sliprails into the valley was also used on old enduros.
The Cotter Rangers Hut has gates both sides.
So from Yaouk the legal routes are Rules Point, Broken Cart, Boundary, Brindabella Road or Shannons Flat, Tharwa, Cotter, Bulls Head. Sorry.

Had tried some of the trickier trails on a KTM300 years ago, however currently on a scrambler so it rules out a few of those routes.

Have approached from the North via Blue Water Holes, which leaves around 30km of the Lone Pine Trail to complete. I have taken the 'by any means' philosophy and will complete it on a push bike as it gets cooler.

Also good to hear the stories on park enforcement, better safe than sorry.

I got told today that my R100GS had arrived from US, after 3 months...

Only problem, it's in bloody Brisbane, not Sydney.

Don't it shit yah.

I'll be lucky to get the Husky by Friday. Which seriously limits my holiday plans. Then Xmas lockdown. It's karmic pay back. So.... its back to the f'n paint brush. The demo is in and to be fair, Greg tried to talk Husqvarna Oz into giving me the 0 km demo but they said no - I have to wait. Still hope to have it b4 for Xmas. I miss riding a single. Keen to mono.

Might sneak in tomorrow and take their demo out for a demo
