Relocating to Georgia- Questions

Hello Georgia riders

I am relocating to the Lawrencevile Ga area from Pennsylvania.
I have a 2001 KTM 520 EXC which has been dual sport converted and has street title and tags.

My questions are:

Once I move, how difficult would it be to re-register the bike in Georgia ?
Would I be better off selling it here, and then buying something else when I get to GA ??

Just don't know what the rules are for converted dirt bikes in GA ?

Best Regards,
Mike

Congrats on the move south. You have the perfect bike for the n ga mountains. Hundreds of miles of fs roads up there. As far as tagging the bike, it wasn't an issue for me to tag my 525 and it had never been tagged before. I had a bill of sale, insurance and the mso and skated right through.

Seems like it all depends on the person you get at the DMV. Oh yeah, you don't need blinkers just a headlight and brake light. They didn't even ask to see my bike.

Good luck w the move. Tons of great riding here. Shhhh....

If you have a tag and title now don't screw with it. If you sell it there you may not find what you want here...

You can not tag a dirt bike in GA however you can bring in a tagged dirt bike from another state if that makes sense.....
