Yeah there was some deep sand out on that sandbar, and that's the triple truth Ruth! I'm sure a Kenda Trakmaster in the appropriate width woulda helped out quite a bit...but yeah yer right, power and suspension ain't what little XTs are all about. They're all about fun, and I had me some of that.

Mostly successful day.
Pivot Rock, 3 covered bridges and nearly 500 miles of awesome riding. Using David Haynes (GSBS) book "Motorcycling Alabama" as a reference. Tomorrow turning south in the morning for more good stuff. http://s12.beta.photobucket.com/user...99146.mp4.html

This is gonna be a biggie for me. What started off as a beast ride turned into a cannonball run with MANY targets to hit in 2 days. It was mostly a success. Only failures were riding the VStrom up to the Pivot Rock and sending a rock off the Little River Canyon into the river below. TOO FAR.
I'm still thinking on how to present this trip so give me a bit more time. Its gonna be good. Here's a tidbit. Slingshot Fail  :click picture
