950 SE single track
didn't realize there was a video thread for the 950!!!
little video of some single track last sunday with a buddy. I am on my new (to me!) 950 Super Enduro and my buddy is on his 690 Enduro. Was fun to play a bit since i had someone with me to help me pick up the bike in case of "accident". |

Was on my own in a remote beautifull valley called The Baviaanskloof in South Africa. Some of the water crossings.

LC8 and Ostriches
Just before the water crossings above, I came across this chap.
He was not acting like most do - they run away - as did the one on the right.

When I had the shorter cable I routed it into the helmet, this also was a good clear sound set up and enabled me to commentate too. See here Sadly a few weeks ago I ripped the cable off and lost the head. Vio do not stock heads or cable anymore. So I have a recorder and nothing to video with. Ebay time.

Riding West Virginia's Abandoned Rail Beds, pt 1
My buddy & I are near the top of a Paint Creek tributary when we decide to ride an abandoned rail bed that has been stripped of ties & rails. This isn't marked as a "Rails to Trails" hike/bikeway which we have here in WV so there was no concern for public safety. After the line ends in impassable sapplings & vines he heads back up the nearby pavement while I have a little fun blasting solo. There is an amazing rock cut in the beginning I ride through, and to think it was all done by hand. You can see the WV Turnpike at one point & John riding on the road above me at another which spurs me on to get there first! The 2nd bridge is missing some decking timbers but that just makes it more exciting, right?
Can't wait to spoon some fresh tires on & try again with the Scotts damper turned up a few clicks

hi jm
this one in video is a real a great tour all around Trasimeno lake, central part of italy "touching" tuscany and umbria lands, wonderful places. Also following Alps is another super nice trip,we usually go to the western part, close to the border with France. I imagine you went there! About gps tracks,...not easy, also 'cause many of these places aren't completeley legal to ride in. there are different laws for each council And again, people of these places could be not so happy if many riders should across their fields, you know what I mean?!
