Oh my. My new favorite thread. I'll try not to bomb it too hard....

Let's jump right in with a "post tour pic". Taken about 2 hours after we rolled in to Cannon Beach OR from Bar Harbor Maine. You can see about 1300 more pics taken on the trip here http://keithreed.smugmug.com/Other/2...7411110_HcSG9C

Here's one taken a bit closer to home that I like. The little guy was celebrating his 8th birthday by riding 20 miles with his "friends" Awesome morning.

And a couple more just for some diversity...
This one taken from a rolling bicycle (in Oklahoma)

A little cyclocross fun. One of my better attempts at picture taking as he was rolling about 20MPH when he went by.

What the heck,,,one more since this is a motorcycle forum. Taken from the tour collection...
Somewhere in the Badlands

I don't usually take a camera on my rides unless it's a group ride or something I haven't done before or don't expect to do often. I have had a couple good ones this year, though. I'll post a select pic and link to a slideshow of the album on Photobucket rather than bog down the whole thread.

Black Canyon Trail - North of Phoenix, AZ. A friend and I did the north ~30 miles of the trail. The slowest smooth trail I have ever ridden.

South Mountain - Mormon - National - Corona Loma trails.

AZ Trail - Flagstaff Section. It was raining and cold in mid-July!

Sedona - The guys on the Flagstaff ride organize an annual ride every year to various places. Utah and Colorado have been popular, but this year was a late trip to Sedona.

AZ Trail - Picketpost Trailhead near Superior, AZ. Cat claw on the trail made it look like my cat used my legs as a scratching post.

We only covered about 10 miles today, part of the Mt. Vernon Trail, and then off to Four Mile Run.

50° and cloudy, but a nice ride for us.

Gats ride

These pics are from a short few days ride.
Location:- Gatineau Hills, Quebec, Canada.
Bike- the only one I had then.
Scope- slower paced touring; when on my motorcycle I keep on going, and going, and going...
the more I go the faster I want to go. On a bike, time slows down:

enjoying a perfect fire road:

nice trail around a lake:

talk about wrong choice- this fella was trying to dig a hole in the wrong spot... felt sorry for her, hopefully she decided to try somewhere else:

more riding:

back to civilisation:
