We meet up pretty regularly. If'n yer in the area for any length of time, then there'll be something going on.

I'm going to be in St. Paul more or less full time for months to years depending on how things go. I guess lowertown? I'm still trying to figure out the different areas.

Not something worth making an effort over to be honest. I still don't know where the hell donkey town is, and don't much care. Welcome to the area. It's actually quite good. I don't like the idea of living in the shitties, but both Minneapolis and St. Paul are very accessible, Much easier to get in and out of than many other shitties.

My brother works in Lowertown, my sister lived there for a couple years. Any day you want to go to Barrio (taco/tequila bar, great lunch buffet) or Bulldog (hot dogs burgers, tap beers) just say the word.

The Gopher Bar is a nice dive up on 7th that *Gravy* and I hit up once, coney dogs and cheap drinks.

Or head over to the St. Paul Curling Club and the Happy Gnome for some real local culture. The Blue Door for Blucy.

Red Bull Crashed Ice (downhill racing on ice skates in hockey armor) is at the Cathedral again this winter. The St. Paul Winter Carnival is always good, the state HS hockey tournament is fantastic. The Roller Derby is right over there too.

You will find ways to be entertained, no doubt.
