In this case looks don't count for much, ST is of course a 750 vs. TDM 850, frame is different, etc. Relatively few interchangable parts.

Anyone know where I can get one of these this weekend?
It's the moly bolt assembly that holds the handguards to then end of the handlebar. I tried FormaThread without any luck. I was thinking of heading to Hartville Hardware tomorrow, but it's probably a long shot. The whole assembly came up missing without a trace when I took my bike off the trailer at home.

A long tapered head bolt, a flanged nut, and a 2" section of appropriately sized fuel hose should do in a pinch. Put the fuel hose over the bolt, install the nut behind it, and begin to tighten until the fuel hose starts to distort and expand. Slide it in the end of the bar, and continue to tighten the bolt; the expanding fuel hose will keep the nut from slipping and will also tighten against the inside of the bar.
Suzuki OEM bar end weights are held on this way. It may not be as structurally intact as the pictured thingy for a barkbuster, but it'll work. I may actually have a spare or two, let me look when I get home at 10:30.

I have a box of spare/discarded of those parts. Damned if I could tell you where.

Thanks for all the ideas/offers. What does everyone think of filling the end of the bar with 5 minute epoxy, shoving a drinking straw into the center, and tapping the straw slightly larger when it hardens? The other plan is to steal the one from the KLR if it turns out to stop raining long enough to ride? I didn't realize this thing would be so hard to find. It looks just like a concrete anchor, or moly bolt to me.

They have the threaded inserts at FormaThread, though they're not solid like the ones in the link. It looked like the M8 x 1.25mm insert would fit, but they didn't have any installation tools, or the correct tap size.

I think I have a pair of the rings in question from the acerbic guards. I think they were to keep the twist grip from rubbing on the bark buster. And one for the other side to keep things even. Let me know if you want them

Thanks, I'll get them from you some time. I still have the ring on the throttle side, so I guess I'm good for now. I'd like to have a spare for when I loose the throttle side.
