Yup. That sure made it 10 times better , they were awesome.


To tell you the truth, I love tamales, but haven't found any around here, other than Onward's store, that come close to satisfying.
Fat Mama's suck wind by comparison..

Onward and the BBQ place on 471 have the best I've found around Jackson. I may have to go eat a plate tonight...

Wish that I had tried the tamales at Onward under the old ownership. The only time I ate there was a few years ago and my lunch was only fair - didn't know they had tamales. I will give them a taste soon.


I may hit a few of these places over the holidays.

Public Service Announcement: Be warned if you will be passing anywhere near downtown Brandon tonight... Brandon Christmas Parade is tonight. Jeep club has several Jeeps and a float in it. I know some of you live or commute through there... I got caught one year trying to get to a softball game at Shiloh Park and got held up by the parade. Ended up going behind courthouse, jumping curbs, and barely made it by the time our game started...

Just returned the KLR back to stock suspension... Dont know how anyone can ride it on that crappy suspension!
I could barely make the block... (going back stock to speed up sale and sell farkles separately)
