hey gra what size sprockets are ya running on the 625?have ya had to do any thing to the engine yet?what km/l ya gettin approx,what ks ya done now 75000+?

I have - it's called a DR650

Pre Xmas can't do this weekend but think I am good to go weekend or mid week other than that. Any other interest apart from the patriarch and the paint waster?

I get the parts from the local KTM dealer in town...oil filter kit about $45..oil is Motul 10w50 ester 5100..about $70+ for 4 litres.
still the original throttle cable, carby parts etc..air filter about $38...No Toil filter oil and some grease around the air box works fine.
Safari tank holds more like 30 lts..if ya get the 640 put ya luggage on the pillion pegs with a bit of a bracket between the side cover and the muffler to keep ya bags of the muffler...ya dont need pannier racks racks....you probly saw my set up...works perfectly





buy the bracket from Bunnings...ya can hang ya shovel on it too...

no I dont get my air from them...I use my own ..leafy terraces air...its superior to all others

Got me clutch plates for my 350 today. Wakefield Park Wednesday week. And a new race tyre for the front. Start doing some work on it tomorrow. Hope to annoy the neighbours by the weekend.

Mountains loop ride would be nice. Can't do either of the next two weekends.
Could possibly do the last weekend of the year....

The in-laws are coming for Christmas, so I could definitely do Christmas Day. It would only cause a little strife. And I'm confident I'd survive.

Im interested in a mtn ride, but weekends are no good for me for next 2 months, so I could do weekday, but I'd have to play it by ear.

My hectic social life....... ok, work... has me on weekends, and this is a busy time of the year for us.

So if a date is proposed, I'll try and fit it in.

I've been looking for a ute/tonner. Found a ripper - XR6 ute, in KTM orange. Had a woody as soon as I saw it.

I haven't chased it up though. If I bought it, Alec wouldn't be allowed to drive it, for fear of repeating what happened to my EF. But then I started thinking further back.

If I hadn't thrown myself to the ground, I wouldn't have sold the kato. If I'd nt sold the kato I wouldn't have bought the LC. If I'd not bought the LC, I wouldn't be searching for a ute/tonner.

So maybe I should just take up throwing myself to the ground again? (Typed whilst sitting with a ice pack on my shoulder following half and hours exercise to fix myself up.)


Life is confusing.
And I can't complain that I have a hard or difficult one.
