'Bikies" all of us in the eyes of the public, none of us according to ourselves
'Bikers' US version of the above
'Riders' can be used in conjunction with "awesome" , "shit" , "bloody dangerous"
'Commuters' panniers replaced with green shopping bags, Coles car park adventures
'Owners' need to get out more and graduate to 'riders'
'Wild Hogg Wannabes' -well you can dress em up but........................

Dobbo, you forgot....

'Middle aged farts whose ambition exceeds their ability' my hand is up

As with all mass organised rides... it has a big mix of riders and styles.

As with all events I have narrowed it down to:

'Bikies"
'Bikers'
'Riders'
'Commuters'
'Owners'
'Wild Hogg Wannabes'

Can you add..".Dickhead Daddy's"...Dads who put their 10 year old daughters on the back with no jacket or gloves (Apparently Tshirts provide all the protection your kid will ever need)

Procycle (EBC tagged), Steve. Was thinking about what you said about them being a bit susceptible to a knock. Seems reasonably solid but could see how a decent knock could pop it off the bobbins. Went over Granya & back and it was nice to have 2 finger comfort braking backed by real stopping power when required, adhesion of the skinny front tyre is the limiting factor now. The braking to power ratio has altered significantly

I thought that was the one you mentioned. There are a few out there and for mostly road use I expect it'll be fine. But out in the bush, I'm not so sure. Ballards can supply a solid disc, but it was only to order and $$$$$$, so pass for the moment. I tend to think that the bigger discs need to be floaters, or semi at least, and the stocker is. One day, I will find the right one.
