if anyone asks, we say the whole event was moved from the 31st/1st to the 30th/31st just so you could spend new years with family.

I'm 90 percent in. Gonna double check that no plans have been made for me. Big question is it mostly pavement or mostly dirt?

I'm off work from the 21st thru the 29th, but I may be able to swing a couple more days. Camped out at Barfoot last weekend and it was a bit brisk on top of the mountain, but I'm up for a good overnighter anywhere in the Chiricahuas.

I put in for the days off, should get them. As for the route, how about GTR to Animas, lunch in Portal(stock up on beer), then Tex Canyon/Rucker Canyon, camp at Fort Rucker/Bathtub Springs campground. Eighty percent easy dirt roads, big bike friendly.
