What Did You Do To Your KTM Today?

changed the oil on my Adventuer and my friend's RC8.

Oil change on RC8 was a so easy. I was shocked. You just need to take out two bolts on the left side that are connected to two screens, that will drain the oil. Then change the filter which is on the same side of course. That's it! It took 20 minutes.

Finally replaced my fuel pump with a Facet 40171. What a difference. The stock pump lets the float level go down too much before firing up. The Facet keeps it just right. Mid range RPM cruising is so much smoother now.

Now for a ride this weekend at my buddies TT and Flat track. Video to come.

Got the new front wheel installed.



Since we have a snowstorm inbound.. I drained the floats and plugged in the battery tenders on all the bikes



...and since I've modified everything I can think to modify on my 950... it is time to work on the 500's mods a bit more

With so many bikes in the stable, he'd probably forget it was off, just ride off and then think he ran out of gas.

It wouldn't be the first time I would curse the thing for not starting.. completely drain the battery... work on it for 30 minutes.. and then realize I'd turned off the petcock

Well, as Geek stated earlier, looks like winter is rolling in here at last. Started my winter teardown and greaseing ritual on the 950. Then spoon on a new set of tires and wait for spring.
