Can I relocate my fog light switch?

I have an 07 GSA with the factory fog lights. It has the dual switch box located over the bar clamps. Is it possibloe to buy the back of the 08 and up right controls to mount the switch in that location? If so what will I need to purchase? I don't want to buy the entire contol assembly if thats the only way to go.
Thanks Brian

There is plenty of wire you can reach just in front of the tank by cutting wire tie. You can cut it, solder and splice with heat shrink, or remove tank and unplug.
And a picture to confirm this is what you want here

Go to your local BMW store and they can advise more.
Part are around $40US.
