Holy crap! A politician's ads slathered across a short bus! How much more truth in advertising can you get than that right there.
![]() ...and I only thought I was bored, Friar. Once that project ate up Saturday and was looking like it was going to eat all of Sunday I developed a strong desire to do almost anything else or nothing. I *hate* rooting around on a floorboard. Guaranteed visit to the chiropractor shortly afterward and yep... got in on Tuesday because there's nothing quite like getting pushed and shoved around after two days of groveling on your back and knees. I'll tell you what though. Heli gave me a lightweight foam rubber pad for kneeling and that thing is the absolute coolest for this kind of work. Definitely kinder on the caps than any set of kneepads I've sported.

Hey cool! My rig has an ADV sticker too!
![]() ![]() Yeah, I drive a minivan. Why, you might ask? Well for the mileage and......It can carry a motorcycle with room enough to sleep right beside it. ![]() ![]() Comet and I have gone cross country a few times like this including taking the Duc to Deal's Gap. One of MY best rides ever! ![]() Have to roll the bars down and compress the forks but the KLR fits too. ![]() OMG, even a HARLEY! Whole lotta stigma driving a minivan but works for me and Comet don't care. ![]()

Nice! The bike stays warm and dry too.I took my 636 to Deal's Gap too. I also agree, it was an awesome ride along with riding the Blue Ridge Parkway. I rode there though, ADV style I'm thinking of going again in 2014.

Nice Project
Lots of work for a wagon. But whatever happened to the VW Bus project from years ago?

My Yukon Ride
as a winter DD it has a 4-way hyd plow mounted
In the warner months it can carry 2 450's to the local play area ![]() It's a 1993 Subaru a massive 660cc 4wd I got it as a jigsaw puzzle ( traded a bicycle for it) rebuilt engine & reassembled the rig --wasn't missing a single bolt or clip--the original owner was OCD about bagging & labeling things he took apart

New project: 2005 A4 1.8T Quattro Ultrasport.
So far I've upgraded the turbo from a k03 to a k04, test pipe, flowed manifold, bigger injectors, bigger intake, and running a tune for the upgrades. Stage 2 clutch needed next...

How about fixing the grille first, haha.
Looks like a fun/light version of the s4, cheaper insurance too! I've been on hunt for a b5/6 1.8t 6spd avant s line for a while. They are quite rare though. My rwd hooptie works pretty damn well for the time being.

Haha, yeah yeah...I went for the important stuff first, like power and reliability. Plus, I can't decide if I want a black or chrome emblem. Those suckers are spendy too!
Good luck searching for an avant, I like then a lot too. I got this car for a steal and only found how rare it was until later. I'd have preferred an avant bit this'll do for now ;-)

Red or body color for the emblem!
I like the emblem-less grilles too, very sinister.
