Reklusive ridin'

Last week was the pits, and the plan was to work all weekend too. Luckily all the stuff that prevented me from riding this weekend was resolved, well, except for the leaking radiator hose (never trust internet "shortcuts"), so I couldn't ride. However, I did get a new Rekluse clutch installed and tweaked (no small task since Rekluse doesn't make a "kit" for the TE610). It's in, works great, and if I can get a radiator hose delivered and installed in time, I'll be up for some riding this coming weekend. The more single track, the better (Enoree? Enoree anyone?). Anyone interested?

Also we've got another new member. Soon as I have a moment, I'll send his email to the group.

Clint

Yea, I'm debating going with a new stainless performance header or just pick up a used take-off oem.

I asked a question in the DR forum and no one seems to have had a similar issue.

About 20 miles from home it got louder, 10 miles later a lot louder. I was pretty sure of the problem and had no way to get home except to ride so I babied it the last 10 miles and figured I'd see a nice wide crack but this is what I found when I got home....

Anyone want some k60 takeoffs? I'm going to trash them.

They have 10700 miles on them. The rear is cupped badly but it probably has another 3-4000 miles left in it.

The front is cupped but not as bad and I swear it would run another 10k.

They have gotten pretty loud and vibey in the last couple thousand and I can't take it anymore.

Free if you will come get them. I live in west Ashley.

The front is a 19". 17" rear.

Perhaps Sunday or Monday if no rain. But Enoree is a tad far for an afternoon of dirt. Thats like a 5 hour trip on my lil 250.

That said, is Enoree the best for technical single track around here? I could always camp!

Enoree is definitely best done on a trailer, and better still with an overnight in the middle. however they close the first 3 months of the year so I was hoping to get in 1 more trip before January. Because of all the tight turns, whoops, ruts, hills and drops, it is almost entirely a 2nd gear affair on my bike with my old fart skill set. Technical usually means show, and slow USUALLY means less pain when the bike takes a sudden nap.

Sunday would be best for me, and I'm fine with riding Francis Marion. If Bart can't go, I have a number of our better dirt roads plotted. George, I'll make sure you are on the email list.

I'm up for a saturday ride, the wife's out of town I can go for an all day adventure. Enoree sounds fun. Only thing is I can't do the sugar sand of wambaw my KLR just digs in with my less than knobby tires. Random Francis Marion sounds fun too. Shoot me a text or call 843-640-8466. Ryan.

I'm, out unless it's all street riding.

Still haven't replaced the broken header on the DR.

Will be doing some EFI tuning on the XR1200 tomorrow and sunday.
