What is it with newer trucks and heavy gates? My Titan's also weighs a ton. You could use a mesh gate for the trailering season.

will the jack post clear the gate? If it does try a top wind jack. like such:

The Transit will have those things but is much larger.

The TC has been redesigned for the 2014 model year.

Quote:
The 2014 Transit Connect Wagon will go on sale in North America in late 2013. It will be shown later this month at the Los Angeles auto show.

The redesigned Transit Connect cargo van will debut in January at the North American International Auto Show. Ford also will show the new larger Transit commercial van in Detroit that goes on sale next year. That model will be built in Kansas City.

The Transit Connect Wagon has sliding doors and comes in both a short-wheelbase five-passenger or a long-wheelbase seven-passenger configuration. There will be three trim levels: XL, XLT and Titanium.

Consumers can choose between a 1.6-liter EcoBoost or a 2.5-liter regular gasoline engine.

That's where the hotmail account comes in handy.

As somebody who's been looking for a van on CL and elsewhere for a year or so, I can tell you look for weird language in the ad. I found an "almost too good" ad last month but something in it was worded oddly. I grabbed that sentence and googled it and hmm, what do you know, the same van was advertised in three different cities and I don't mean adjacent cities.

SF, San Antonio and somewhere in Ontario...

But stupid good deals do happen so I just keep a spam email address and just use it for this kind of stuff.

Bwaahaaahaaaa!!!

Finally found a Sprinter.

I'm going to kit it out as a weekender/portable office. I can fit the DRZ inside and run over to the Nat'l Forest and have a big old box to sleep in if the weather gets nasty. And on longer trips I can haul my Casita.
