Cindy and I went down to Wimberely for a little romantic getaway last weekend. We also made it to Lone Star's open house and the outlet stores in Round Rock. We had a fun!

Note the trenching tool of choice here. Plenty of good free shoulder and back workout with that tool. But I noticed your dirt needs more rock in it for a serious workout.

Dam, he has dirt, all I have is rock and dust.

I did get both rigs out over the weekend. Here's a shot of of the leaner as I rode it and it was smooth at 80, but bounced a lot at 10-20 on ruff roads.

Amen. I have been driving to DFW to get on a plane and to put my kid on a plane for-ev-er. I got lost 10 days ago and still have no idea how I did it. I swear the whole goddam road moved yet when I headed to the south exit, it was still there!! Truly Twilight Zone shit.

She heads to Nashville Thursday. Outta Waco. The Hell with that place.

In other news, still looking for some dirt explorin' this weekend. Night out Saturday. Thinking north and as much new dirt as possible. Working on my Red to the Rio. And I'll be on my best behavior, too. Come'on people. Cheap crack-house motel. Dead-ends. Pissed off deer hunters. Lots and lots of dust. If we are lucky, good food.

Sorry to rain on your parade but we did have a 40% chance of rain in the forcast for Friday. Are you still going to ride if there's no dust?

Not that I can go this weekend anyway. Actually I'm free most of the day Saturday but have to be back that night.
