This year I picked up a vstrom 650 for the wife and its grown on me. Easy maintenance, fairly bulletproof, inexpensive, but most of all...it makes her extremely happy too ride. She went from a Vulcan 750 to this after trying lots of others (BMW 650gs, versys, etc) but nothing felt right for her until she tried this. Loved it immediately. One of the best bikes I've picked up and hope it makes her happy for a long time.

Happy wife, happy life.

My current Zooks......

Can't explain why I like them so much. My 1st "real" motorcycle was a 1968 Suzuki TC 120, a 3 speed with the dual range tranny. Next was a 1972 TC90. Same dual gearbox but 4 speeds! My next Suzuki was a brand spanking new 1978 PE 250. God, I loved that bike. Sold it after a while, only to get another of the same model soon after. Took a long break from bikes, trying to be a family man. luckily for me my step son had a dirt bike, and it's been game on since I sat on it!!!! that was about 10 years ago.

These 2 are my current rides, and I also have a 1982 PE 175 in the basement, all rebuilt and looking purty, should have brought her out for the pic too. The 76 is just a cool bike, and listening to the 2 stroke triple will just...........f'n awsome. Bought the '12 vstrom this past spring, and I love this bike too. Good thread!

This is my third Suzuki, a 2011 GSXR-750. Had a DR-Z 400S and a DR-350 before. I've always been a fan of Suzukis ever since my friend had a brand new 1978 RM-80. The '78 RMs are still the best looking dirt bikes ever made in my opinion.

Suzuki DL650 Wee-Strom -- Among the very best of motorcycles when comparing 'price-vs-function' value.

My two Suzukis

I figured it was time for me to post here.

First up the the DL650.
It was the first bike.
It was the reason why I joined this forum.
It too my best friend and I on many trips and will take me on many more.
It has almost 50K on the clock and the only issue was the starter/headlight switch (now fixed).

On the Dragon

At the 45 th

At the start of this years Minute Man 1K Rally (we did the Saddle sore ride)

On the PDR in VT

And doing anything else I ask!

Never a complaint or hiccup; always a blast to ride.

The second bike a DR350 is a bit rough around the edges, but never fails and is bomb proof.
I picked this one up for next to nothing and brought her back to great running condition and now enjoy homing my woods and trail riding skills.

Up in northern NH

I have never owned another brand bike (minus the Guzzi, but thats in its own league) and I hope to continue my enjoyment of the Suzukis by adding a DR650 to the stable for the more serious ADV touring and hopefully a TAT ride
The Suzukis have worked so well for me, why would I have any reason to change it now.
