Somebody's got to go get this thing...it's such a nice ride down there. I know it's cold...but break out the warm gear and make a run for it!

I'm going riding...too bad no one's moved it. Guess I'll go collect some more so when this one moves I'll be ready! It's a beautiful day and a great ride down to get it...some one really ought to try!

I wish this game was set to 100 miles from Springfield! I just can't reach out that far

The current tag isn't too far from Willow Springs...

This is definitely a good one for the Springfield or Eastern SW MO folks.

See if this helps!

Google

Google the name of the school then look it up on google earth. I think I found it but it was just to far for the time I had to invest. I wanted to go for a ride today so I looked up a bridge on bridge hunter last night. It was located in cedar county and listed as there in 2005 current status unknown. I put the cords into my dakota this morning and rode there after lunch, gone, like rip. County line bridge was the name of it. Bummer deal but good ride and the first test for the dakota 20. Merry Christmas to all.

I know this isn't the best thread to ask, but how do you like that dakota20? Price is nice.

Dakota 20

I think from my limited use its going to be great. I looked at the more standard 60csx and the newer version there of and it just made my head hurt, Some of those are bringing more money used than they brought when put on clearance, what? Still wanted a a gps with a micro sd that could do citinavigator for turn by turn and the dakota seem to fit the bill. I dont think the micro usb will hold up for on bike power but I dont think it will on the others mentioned, it could be used in a campground at night to recharge. Its so kind on batteries I am likely to just toss a few spare sets in and go.
I am a techno caveman despite that the controls were very easy for me to pick up on and get started with. My first real shakedown went fairly well and it routed me to a gps cord on a bridge hunt. The screen back light goes off after a owner set time and without it the screen is not really visible but I think the other mentioned do the same. So far its very quick to boot up from a cold start and has exceeded my expectation.
The thing I cant figure out is with the price point, ability to read in direct sunlight, water proof, micro sd card, and other wonderful features why is has not caught on in the adventure riding area. Do a google on it for dual sport use and you will come up basically empty, which made me put off buying for several months. I would say people are paying more for older units that might not have anything over the dakota 20. Just my opinion and it is my first gps aside from my wife's tom tom we use in the cage. Merry Christmas to all, and remember the reason for the season. SN Oh one more thing the cords I entered into my garmin were wrong and county line bridge might still be there!

This was starting to become the Stockton Lake Photo Tag so I took it upon myself to move this considerably south and east of previous tags. Only clue: if you are "witty" you will have a better chance finding this.

I know it's a haul for some of you, but you won't regret the trip!
