May be worse than first thought.
Ortho sent me for CT scan right away and is going to let me know Wed. if my Christmas is going to suck even worse. He may have to open my wrist up.
fingers crossed ( on 1 hand anyway) that that's not the case, but the Doc didn't sound to hopeful.
FUCK!

Let me know if they end up putting a hook on instead of fixing it, maybe I can have a chance of keeping up with you then!

Seriously, good luck with it. I have a good ortho surgeon if you need him, Dr. Gold out of Wayne, NJ.

Heal up quickly. Sorry to hear about the wrist!
525, following 2 VERY fast guy's.
This is a bad time of year for me, the last time I got hurt sort of bad was because of the same thing...............leaves covering up stuff that was gonna bite me in the ass. Or wrist in this case. Last time was my right forearm, ripped open very nicely with the muscle hanging out. Followed by a delightful infection. Yummy!
Doc, you think I should get a 2nd opinion if the doc says it needs to be opened up? I have a intra-articular distal radius fracture.
He's supposed to be one of the best guy's around here, Dr. William Matarese. I sort of feel that...............if they ain't cuttin' they ain't makin' nuttin'. So I wonder if they're quick to want to operate.

Never hurts to get a second opinion. Do you have the x-rays and or MRI? If you could post the pictures, or send them to me via private message, I could get one of my guys to look at the films.

The x-rays are on a disc that my system won't open for some reason.
