1st place gets a snazzy jacket (in thier size) and a big plaque, and I think I'm gonna run down to 5th place this year instead of 3 for other size plaques, we had 30 seperate finishers in 2012......... Way more than Novice Trials

No, just the AMA.

But you do need D16 to get points for the Dual Sport stuff, right?

In other news, I was on Rocky Mountian ATV and saw they have a program called "Race Gas".
Seems like they help sponsor events with some banners and such, and then participants get a $10 gift cert.
Sounds like an easy way to get $50+ for stuff we are already doing.

But looks like the AMA will get my donation as I am PLANNING on doing a few DS rides.

Correct. Most off road motorcycle competitions require D16 membership as well.
