I've thought about these shipping containers for a long time. Pretty sure I'll get one or two for long term storage of some stuff when I bug outta here.
I was thinking I'd get two 40's, the tall ones I think are 9'6". Set them up 20' apart parallel too each other and eventually build a roof over them using each as a side wall and stick frame in between. Get 'em where you want 'em the first time though!

pretty sure the 53's are around 9k lbs. wish i was loading one soon. hahahaa. i'd be able to tell you. if you guys actually look at some of the containers while driving, pretty sure the "tare weight" is listed on the outside.. i've been loading them for 13 years.. you think i'd remember?!
