You can camp, but skip the steaks. You will not be eating anything near me that you can cut a slab of fat off the side and eat as a 'bore d'oeuvres'. Lets stick w/chop steak/hamburger and bratwurst.

I was thinking T-Bone or New York strips. Lots of flavor in that fat, don't know what you're missing.I could do filets to keep you happy.

Nice play on words as well. You're pretty sharp for a down stater.

Out For a While

No riding for me for a couple of months, have to have thumb base joint replaced, (clutch hand, of course). The 3-4 weeks I'll be out will give me tons of time to read ride reports!

Worked all day today, need to get these jobs done before the weather goes bad. Getting tired of reading about the retired folks enjoying life.

Darren sorry to hear of the bad hand. Hope the other one knows how to get it done.

This is BigDog's wife-----as he left the house about 6AM.
That's his usual start time------he said he'd try to find the long way to P-ville.
He didn't want to miss 3 1/2 hours of riding time.
And if he don't show don't worry about it--he may have decided to go a different way.

You know how he is----always wanderin' around.

Mrs. BigDog

good ride

Nice ride Ross and Bigdog. Is DrzDoug on here?

I really enjoyed the gauntlet dash thru the creek. Good way to get the mud off the boots and a proper method of going from west to east.
.

On a sad note. Ross bm658 managed 65 mpg for the day whilst the 990r clocked in at 35 mpg. Big WTF?

Ross gets the XT redone Ill bring out the Dr650 and it will be thumper day.

Lets do another ride. Someone else on point.

Maybe if your throttle cable wasn't stretched so tight it would get better mileage? Fun ride, good lunch, and my sock monkey made it home safe and sound!

Yikes!

I found some icy gravel roads north of Pierre Marquette park today, not on purpose! Darn, GPS said nothing about there being ice on the road!
