Hola Julio,
Thanks to your excellent advice I was cranking and banking up and down these all day not far across the border from you:  Crisp mountain air, pine forests, blue skies, friendly locals, volcanoes in the distance. Guatemala doesn't seem so bad to me. Kindest regards, John Downs
