Rumor has it that somewhere between San Manuel and Benson you can make a left and go to Wilcox. I always seem to miss that turn.

The bad weather moved in and I guess my riding is comming to an end. Yesterday I drove the truck to the Motorcyclist Cafe B&B in Show Low to visit Dean (Deans BMW) and Pam. It started snowing and I barely made it home.

Thanks to all you guys that offered ride suggestions. I'll be back the same time next year and I'll continue the thread.

I'm getting ready to head towards Mesa again. This time ill be on my WR250R. I was just reading some ride reports on Crown King, it looks promising. I'll have to see the town of Young again also. I'm still putting the trip together so if you have any suggestions please let me know!

The last time I was in Young I came from the South. It was very scenic as I was on a long narrow black top road that climbed high into the hills. Near the last part of it it started raining hard, then it turned to wet snow. The road turned to dirt, than deep mud. I was on the Buell with street tires. I had my hands full trying to make it to town. This was the end of December. Anyway, I'll let ya know.
