No way! Glad to see you back on the road buddy! Congrats on getting to take the new rig out, she's a beauty.

And finally, my excuse for eating there today - the first trip on my "new" bike. Last week, I bought a 2007 V-Strom 1000 (just like my old 2005 except a little different shade of blue and with only 13K miles). Rella was happy that I chose her place as my first ride destination. I was happy too. Nice to be back on two wheels after a 1-year break. (BTW - the flash made the blue pinstripes on the wheels much brighter than they actually appear. I guess that will help with night-time visibility.)
The BOTH of you look happy!!!

Congratulations, and welcome back!

If someone would be so kind as to tell me how to get to this diner, it would be appreciated. Perhaps the wife and I can ride up and say hello and get some great food!

Im in NC now, but grew up between bridgeport and grafton WV..I think I know the are being discussed!

Thanks!

A GPS will not get you there.
Rt 20 south of Holly River state park.

Save room for pie/cobbler/cake. If you don't have room just stuff yourself.

My GPS coordinates put you a little north of there, which is why I didn't post them. I'm a GPS noob, so I need to figure out how to capture the actual "You are here" coordinates from my 550 so they will be accurate.

Any insight would be be appreciated.

Google Earth

I'm still new to the GPS stuff, but Google Earth puts her at :

38* 37' 24.74" N
80* 23' 20.11" W

Lots of trees blocking the view, but I think that's her place.

Rella's Ramp Dinner

Coming Soon: Rella's Ramp Dinner

I stopped by Thursday for a snack (blackberry cobbler and ice cream), and Rella said to say "Hi" to everyone. She is having her fall Ramp Dinner on Nov 17. Stop by!

Rella at Christmas

Please think of Rella at Christmas

I know it's been months since many of us have stopped by to see Rella, but let's please remember her kindness during this holiday season. She would certainly appreciate getting a card from all the people she has met (and fed!) over the years.

I was at a gift shop last week and came across a bottle of Ramp Vinegar made by a small business in Morgantown. I packaged it up and mailed it to her. I talked to her yesterday, and she said she loved it! She especially likes good ramp vinegar on chicken, which she made just to have with the vinegar. You don't have to mail a gift, though. Even a card would be nice. THANKS!!

ADDRESS: Rella Stump, 3956 Hacker Valley Rd, Hacker Valley, WV 26222
