Depends which route we end up taking. Cow more dirt, Cobb less dirt.
But at least 75% pavement. Though the Geyers can be rough, lots of
broken pavement. Especially after the storms we've had.

But that makes it more fun.

The ride is still looking good. A little rain tomorrow and Friday, hopefully not to much.

Believe it or not Cow is open, I'm really surprised. We'll
see if it stays open by Saturday.

Anyway, if you're planning to go please say so. I want to get a head count.

I'm out. Not enough time to get up there from work and then there's a strong possibility of a mandatory holdover for Saturday.

Postponed

Hey Guys,

I'm going to postpone the ride due to weather.

Looks like rain is going to start about noon but I'm
more worried about the temperature. Cloverdale is
forecasting 37 degrees between 9 and 10. Geysers road
which is just east of Cloverdale goes up to 2700' and the
pavement may be icy. We don't want any carnage.

Anyway, keep an eye for a future date, hopefully sometime soon.

On this particular ride Old Toll Road is easy dirt. It's used for accessing homes and
ranches in the area.

Cow Mountain is BLM OHV area and has everything from easy fire roads to
knarly, tight, rock and root strewn single track.

It also has lots of fun jeep trails that are fun and challenging on big bikes,
but doable.

Hope that helps.
