I am about your size at 185 and i got an xl that fits over my chest protector and Alpine stars compression suit. I like the jacket for all it offers and the price.

I have a set of these Rally jacket / pants. I am 6'3" and long armed / legged. I weigh about 218 pounds. I wear an XL in the jacket and 36 in the pants. My inseam is 34" (I always have a hard time with jeans unless I get a 34" inseam) and the pants are long enough for me. They are loose in the waist for me but to go with the large instead of XL cut too much length off the ant legs so I just cinch the built-in belt as much as possible. The jacket is extremely generous, even with thermal shirts and its poor excuse of a lining (though I can't blame KTM - it's not that type of jacket). Even with some moderate armour, I still have room in the jacket. It doesn't flap around in the wind, just generous in cut like the Klim Traverse / Adventure stuff. Again, I didn't go down to a Large because it reduced the sleeve length and I'm built like an ugly, bald ape with the length of my arms and legs. I hope this helps you guys figure out your sizes.

By the way, I love this gear - you can't beat the value given the prices. It's really tough material and well built. Not top of the line finishes but much better than anything else in this price range - no knee protection or pockets inside for it either though - keep that in mind...
