Good for Hayes, but I'd have liked to see him go to Europe on a competitive ride. I guess he is too old to be a rookie over there; he can still thank Honda for screwing up his progression through the ranks.

It will be nice to see Eslick on a bike that is routinely competitive, I'm hoping he has a stellar year.

Bobby Fong recently signed for a new team. That guy has a lot of heart, and should be on some good machinery.

No word on Yosh? I wonder if they are in financial trouble? Having to take Chris Clark was not a good sign.

A more disturbing trend, IMO, is the young guys leaving roadracing and either going to flat track and MX, or just MX only. Ricky Parker already left and went MX for 2012, and now Myles Thornton is considering the same in 2013.

I appreciate the cross-discipline training you can get from racing different series', but not being able to road race isn't helping the next level of up-and-coming racers we need to fill seats one day.

It really bugged me when Cardenas went back to Sportbike. We all knew he could win as soon as we heard the announcement. It would have been a lot more interesting to see him in Superbike. And not only did it hurt Superbike, but it hurt Sportbike to have him taking the spotlight from the younger up-and-coming riders.

For the long-term good of the series, we should see a steady progression from Super-sport to Sport-bike to Superbike. Cardenas, T. Hayden and Disalvo should all be in Superbike. And now if Blake Young gets bumped for Cardenas, where does that leave him?

From 2011 to 2012, we saw two of the top 4 Superbike finishers get demoted or lose rides and now we're looking at the possibility of the 2nd place finisher losing his.

I guess it's all about money, but in a sane world, any money there is should be going toward keeping the top riders at the top.

What a crap schedule no wonder it is now a club racer series with little financial backing from mainstream corps.

Road Atlanta, Miami & NOLA are all three promoted by M1 Entertainment. I'm sure they (those three tracks & M1) are working towards as-yet unfinished agreements, and once pen is set to paper, there will be an announcement that all 3 will be on the 2013 schedule.

Hopefully they drop Homestead. A professional series has no business being on that treacherous joke of a track. JMHO.

NOLA seemed quite rinky-dink with that wall then the pit out lane not to mention very few places to watch the race.
