check out "The Motorcycle Shop" owned and run by locals in Santa Rosa, good for parts and service, also to buy and sell bikes on consignment, only $100/month to sell yours there...have bought two and sold one, especially liked selling that way as people from Craigslist can check the bike out and meet you there rather than at home if they are serious http://www.the-motorcycle-shop.com/mcshop/Home.html
Lots of great back road riding though the roads are not maintained well anymore and are ROUGH...but looks like you have the right bikes for that. Some good short loops over to Napa county are on St. Helena RD, Chalk Hill, and Trinity grade and many others....out to the coast on Coleman Valley RD, Skaggs Springs RD, Mountainview RD, etc. If you make it up to Pt. Arena there is an interesting independent shop up there too http://www.thezenhouse.net/
(I have no connection to either shop other than being a happy customer)

Thanks guys! I'm sure Ill enjoy all the opportunities to explore in the coming months. Are there any regular brewery meets or popular hangouts to get acquainted?

Any chance I can swap some brews for help with furniture?

Welcome to the west coast. I'm glad you chose to take the job and come on out. We can talk about upcoming adventures at lunch tomorrow.
