everybody was really happy and enjoying the ceremony...!
        in the name of pata de perro!!   COATZA TEAM!   WINNERS!  Despedidas ..  then the afternoon came in, and the border riders departed heading north.... the urge to devour distance was big... the sadness to leave the party was big... the joy on our faces still was big... we soon should return for the next Rally edition.. and then... after couple hundred miles...in the darkness of the wild Z land.... a broken bike....

Next year
Hey Arte I have not read all your ride report, just I saw the pictures
 It looks it was a great ride, but I have a question, will be Rally Coffe next year? whether it will be next year (2013), perhaps I can ride to there.Arte no he leido todo tu informe de viaje solo vi las fotos, se ve que fue una buena rodada, pero tengo una duda, ¿habra Rally Coffe el siguiente año? Si hay el siguiente año (2013) a la mejor puedo ir. Saludos.

final pictures...
JC bike got broken at Tuxpan, midnight and we were not able to repair it (the gas pump was bad due bad gas) w spent the night there. I were very tired already... ask Efrain!  .    next day we got up at 7 and stared riding as hell. we stoped just after 20 miles after Tampico to have breakfast     Andres bought some Chicharrones for a snak at Soto La Marina and he got this special one  my front tire after the trip.... mmm.. I need to replace it asap... wait.... I said that in october 2012. today is Jan 2013 and stills on with additional 1000 miles... maybe some 500 more..

This pics should be posted at the very beginning of the thread, but it happens that I just found them today
 We are just after passing Reynosa customs check point waiting for a biker that was late!!   We could not miss the great breakfast food at Las Norias    three bikers ran out of gas about 10 miles before get to Soto La Marina. this happened due there are gas stations closed because of the bad guys and we did not take that into account, assuming that they were on service (since we know the area already and we rode according the distances between each gas stations)  finally go to Soto La Marina.... gas!  stoped after crosing the river at Tampico, to have lunch at this famous place:  do not miss it if you pass thru here, the food is delicious shrimps prepared at Ido not have the f*&^&%g idea style... but sure they were good!!!    almost there!!   We kept riding and riding and we finally got at la Esperanza at MIDNIGHT! , riding thru dirt roads and on one of the last 90 degree uphill turns, this happened!! thre bikers down   UFF !!! WE MADE IT SAFE!!!  THANKS FOR READING! Wait for more adventures soon! |
