990R - winter - evening
I am not waiting for summer. Winter can be the best part up here. Right now it's perfect conditions and most people stays inside and fattens up with all the food. I have most smaller roads all by myself

Yes, studded tires. I bought an extra set of wheel to the bike, 1.60 front and 2.50 rear so I can mount regular enduro / mx studded tires. Currently I am using a trelleborg with 7mm for the front and a Birdgestone with only 5mm on the rear. Usually I am at 7mm (what sticks out) on the rear too, but I just had this brand new laying in the garage for a couple of years. Up here everyone is racing during winter the smaller bikes with studded tires and now more and more are studding big bores and twins also. The studs are the rally type, the same they use on the wrc cars.

Nice clip olec. Got inspired by it and went for a "night" ride myself. I like riding in the dark, coz I don't feel so embarrassed revving and roosting in the dark..
Stock lights? What camera? |

Lights are that Touratech Rally double 90mm Hella Rallies + rally fairing (which I have cut down ). High beam Xenon and low beam some shitty halogen (but it works in traffic).Camera is VIO POV HD which is mounted on the crash bar. Very nice camera! I have the unit itself strapped on top of the glove box. The two sections where I am coming towards / going away from the camera, is from the GoPro Hero 2 with a cheap joby tripod. Every month I am going to Panuntie 11 in Käp˙la, Helsinki. You can find out where I work |
