Don't know how close you want/ need it, but check Eagle Rider. They have GS's available and are in Falls Church Va which is less than an hour away. Non rush hour of course. There is also HD in Frederick. Depending on how "dual" you need a bike to be. People race Sportsters on the dirt

Pete's Cycle in Baltimore has all three Jap bike makers and Triumphs. Then only about 30 minutes from Frederick is Ellicott City Motorsports who carry Yamahas, KTM etc.

I don't think any of those places rents bikes though. Probibly only Harley or Bobs BMW in Columbia may rent bikes.

Bates Motel.

Weekly and monthly rates.

(Sorry; I'm weak! Guess I COULD have suggested, as The Village People did, "Y - M - C - A!")

Joking aside, best wishes on finding a satisfactory crash-pad and dirt bike rental while you experience Maryland.

rent-a-bike

I'm not sure but I think that Battley H-D on Gaithersburg, MD has bike rentals also. They used to rent them anyway...

Doesn't Beckley's do hourly rentals too?
