2 BRP's on GWT to Dugas
DOD and I decided to play hookie from work a couple weeks ago and go for a ride Friday 12-7
DOD cleaning his googles - only problem is his towel is on the ground ![]() ![]() ![]() View of the tower we had just ridden up to - as seen from Seven Springs Road ![]() Beauty shot of me (Utefan) - that is as close as you want to get. ![]() DOD ![]() Break at the top of the ride - Bloody Basin - right before the GWT turn off. ![]() Gate break - right after a very rocky section on the GWT - this is right before going down Rattlecan hill - sorry no pictures - I was just trying to stay alive. ![]() ![]() ![]() Taking a break after Rattlecan Hill in Dugas ![]() Aren't they beautiful ![]() ![]() Finally time to change out the back tire. It was a great day: great weather, great riding, great company!

I've been wanting to do that section of the GWT trail for some time now. From the sound of it, it might be a bit risky solo on a KLR.

I just found this. That was a fun day. Somehow it is more fun when you are supposed to be at work.
We need to do this again and continue north on the GWT from Dugas to Camp Verde. When was the last time you were on a ride where all of the bikes were kickstart? -dod

'Bout 12 years ago. My KLR is the first bike I've had that has the magic button. Old tendencies die hard though... I still find myself every once in a while trying to flip out the kicker...
