Don't know how long it's been out, but I noticed that Electrosport now has a plug-in high-output stator for the LC4. Should make the job a bit easier. Good on them for making one specific for the LC4.

plug-in high-output stator for the LC4

I just installed their new one today. I ran out of time so I have not measured the output yet. I hope to do that tomorrow. I will post the resluts after testing.

Thanks for all the great testing on this thread.

Don't know about the plug-and-play newer version, but my ESG950 stator with 950 regulator/rectifier is still doing quite well. It's putting out all the wants I could possibly watt -

Awesome, is that with the 950 regulator still mounted in the stock position?

Team- I sold my '07 640A awhile back and have a deal for one of you.

Over on KTMtalk a few years ago a guy from Electrosport posted up wanting a beta tester for their brand new/redesigned high output plug and play stator for the '03 through '07 KTM LC4 bikes.

I wound up getting this stator for free with the promise of providing them ongoing feedback.

I never got around to installing the stator, and don't have a bike this stator fits anymore. Plus I'm a firm believer in karma, don't feel right trying to sell this thing in the marketplace-especially since it was given to me.

Your bike will need a voltmeter, and some electricity using farkles like heated grips, gps, occasional jacket use, hot rod headlights, a blender for daquri's, etc.

I'll give it to one of you with the promise you'll furnish ease of installation feedback and a few thousand miles of usage feedback. It will fit '03 to '07 bikes.

PM me if you're interested.

Dirty
