As promised, Engineer Pass. Looks like there may be at least one more video kicking around here on Death Valley and maybe even another on Colorado.

Leave your gear somewhere if you can, much more enjoyable without the weight.

Glad you liked it.

Stay tuned...

Muppets take Colorado

Found another video waiting on the cutting room floor. Hope it makes you laugh as much as I did.

COOOOOOOOLLLLLL
really enjoy the honesty and thoughts --I think that we all have doubts and feelings that seem to stack up on us at times--

Hope that your ride has helped---I know it has helped me a lot---

And KUDO'S to your bride for the patience and understanding of letting your roam some----mine is still learning that after 30 years but everyday is always filled with good things --sometimes you just have to lookharder

Being completely anal retentive, I scrapped the first version of the Death Valley video and came up with something I finally found more presentable. Hope you enjoy it.

Still adding a few more details about the trip.

Color represents average speed, numbers are where I stopped for the night.

Couple of updates

Just a couple of updates about work and the bike.

After being home for a while and listening to my wife talk about her job,
I've realized that although it doesn't really push all of my buttons, I actually do miss my old job a bit.
The management thing suits me in a strange way and I miss feeling like I was able to help other
people to feel like they were getting more out of their job. (I'm strange that way, I feel that a
manager is just as accountable to his crew as he is to his boss.)

So I've decided to dust off the resume and start looking for halfway interesting gigs.
I have to keep reminding myself that it's like dating; if I ask out 100 girls, I should be happy if one responds.
Not saying my average was that good, but it's good to have goals.

So wish me luck and more importantly please pass on anything you hear that requires a useless corner-office type of executive.

And finally, guess what the Brown Santi Claus brought me this week.....

oooooh, shiny

Some specialize in photography...
Some specialize in videography...
Lucky for us you specialized in being a generalist.

Simply outstanding. Thanks!

On the road again, eh? Late to the party, as usual, but I just stumbled on to this today while looking for a way to pass some time as I babysit some science-in-the-making.

Say hello to the Mrs

Hey Erik

We're due for another 450 ride down here before everyone sells them off.
