Funny, but I was thinking the exact same thing.

A Honda GS! I think it's cool looking, probably fun to ride also.

A friend was riding one of the earliest gold wings across the nullabor plain in western Australia, it a very long straight road think 1000 miles or thereabouts, he fell asleep and ended up in the ditch beside the road, he was fine, but the bike was so heavy that he could not get the silencer off his leg, by the time his mate realized that he was not behind him and turned back to find him, the poor Golding rider has 3rd degree burns on his leg.
A good reason why not?

I have a KTM950 that when fully loaded weighs over 500lbs (lightest adv bike made) and it's tall, you fall over in a ditch with it laying on you good luck, no difference as I see it. Thats what make it an adventure! I just think it's a cool bike.

![]() A 71/76 Bonnie so far. Presently looking for high pipes, chrome fenders, tail light, front forks, and odds n ends. Basket case bought Feb '12, on the road since June. Bk Brker, we seem to have a seat in common/similar on our bikes. Where did you see the Husky/Duc hybrid? Very cool! Euromad screwed with this post 12-23-2012 at 07:29 AM Reason: added |
