A SHOCK WANTED IN MEXICO - 2005 F650GS REAR SHOCK (lowered version)

Dear All, (posting this for a friend :)

We are currently in Mexico riding between Ushuaia and Vancouver and my wifes rear shock has just given up the ghost!

We are now in the market for a new replacement shock (F650GS 2005 - lowered) she isn't the tallest and she will prefer the lowered version so will consider a used / take off if available.

FOR VEHICLES WITH LOWERING (CODE: X499A)
PART NUMBERS - 33537668653 was superseded by 33537728375.

Any ideas? Availability? Ideas?

I'd fix what you have if at all possible. Where are you? By the time you get a new reaplacement to where ever you are in Mexico, you'll have paid a LOT for it.
