Arrive Anaheim 12/23- need to get R1200GSA out of the pick up truck
Greetings all,
Decided to rent an Enterprise pickem-up and drive from Seattle to Anaheim with the bike in back. Exciting drive: snow / rain / ice / closed passes at Medford & Ashland & other assorted carnage - woohoo! Anyway, I'm meeting up with GlobeRiders 12/29 for a Tierra del Fuego trip 12/30. My 12/23 arrival date precludes help by Seaver BMW as they are closed. I need to get the bike out of the truck 12/23 and turn the truck in. I have reservations at the Marriott on W. Katella. I thought I might cruise around the W Katella Ave area looking for a place with a loading dock that I can use. Anybody know of a loading dock begging to be used for a MC offload?? TIA, EO |

I work Sunday till 2:30, if you want to wait until after 3 pm you can unload it at my house with my m/c ramp to the grass on a curb, about 2 feet. I can see the hotel through my front window so I'm right around the corner, and if you want to leave the bike here while you return the truck, it's all good. Just don't take the key!
![]() If you still want to use a loading ramp, there is Food 4 Less and many other stores at Katella and Euclid with loading ramps in the back, about a mile west of the hotel.

Finding a loading ramp
Close to the height of ur rental truck may be problematic. Enterprise truck rentals probably have lift gate trucks you can back into if you ask. If you run out of solutions pm me, I have such a truck but don't know when or where I will b .
Good luck, Cbig

Got the bike off - thanx y'all
Well, much ado about nothing it seems. Rolled into Anaheim 1000 and began looking for a place to unload the bike. Took about an hour but I found a great ramp / loading dock arrangement at a granite top store not far from the hotel. Crisis averted.
Thanx for y'all volunteering help and info !! ![]() EO |

Yes, but I got shut down!
We need to have a "drink if you want" ADV bar night. I kinda miss the Original Mike's nights.
