Tire needed for a R1200GS in AZ
I decided last minute I need a therapy ride. Have 2 weeks off and always wondered what baja is like. Will leave Denver area Wednedsay. Problem is my rear tire has maybe 1500 miles left in it. Of course all the dealers in the Denver area are closed today. Most are closed for the week.I called 3 cycle gear stores in az and none stock adventure touring tires. (Seriously?!) Suggestions?
I do have used tire I can bring with me but stores are not willing to mount used tire.

scratch that itch
Take your tire irons & bar of soap & do it yourself.
Used tire should go on easier. Just get to riding, waiting is shit when you really have the itch. |

Tire changing in AZ
Bring your used tire with you and I will help you change it in Phoenix on your way through. Got everything we need and can spoon that baby on pretty quick.

Hard to get the bead to seal with a portable compressor. Could do a tire change in a gas station and and feed quarters to the air machine :) I keep this in mind

All three Cycle Gears said it is company policy to not mount a used tire.

Looks like Zen Moto has tires in stock and I will buy a new one while I am there.
