I love the way our town welcomes home our vets. A couple days later another vet Cliff came home and Joshua was one of the first ones to greet him home. This news link has a great video.

Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved. Hell, some of the places I’ve been there weren’t even roads!

Well deserved

Welcome home troop, and good on ya for posting this on his behalf.
Brings back memories coming back from Desert Storm, and having over 300 people shaking my hand and saying welcome home. It made me tear up having that many people in an airport in Bangor Maine at 3 in the morning! It was just a layover for us, and that made it even more special. Those people didn't know us from Adam. I will never forget it as long as I live.

I will always support the troops, no matter what stance or mistakes I feel the Government makes.

I had a similar experience returning from DS at Westover AFB in Massachusetts. Red carpet treatment and heartfelt handshakes and hugs from complete strangers. I cried like a baby. It was an experience I will never ever forget!

God Bless and Merry Christmas!
