I love the way our town welcomes home our vets. A couple days later another vet Cliff came home and Joshua was one of the first ones to greet him home. This news link has a great video.

Well deserved
Welcome home troop, and good on ya for posting this on his behalf.
Brings back memories coming back from Desert Storm, and having over 300 people shaking my hand and saying welcome home. It made me tear up having that many people in an airport in Bangor Maine at 3 in the morning! It was just a layover for us, and that made it even more special. Those people didn't know us from Adam. I will never forget it as long as I live. I will always support the troops, no matter what stance or mistakes I feel the Government makes. |
